SEPA background information

As of January 2008, the European Commission has simplified European monetary transactions. A standardised European payment area, the so-called Single Euro Payments Area – SEPA in short – has been provided.

The additional offer of pan-European standardised money transfers, direct debits* and card payments shall enable companies and consumers to make non-cash payments beyond national borders in the same simple and comfortable way as in their home country. Thanks to the SEPA-Cruncher you will be well prepared to this.
